Local teens making a difference

by Eleanor Ryder on October 14, 2010

The Youth Health Leadership programs starts tonight! The program engages 6th through 9th graders to make a difference in the Bryan/College Station communities.  Youth will receive training on how to perform community and environmental assessments.  They will then present findings and recommendations on improving access to physical activity to community leaders.  For more information on this innovative program, visit the Youth Health Leadership pages, under the UP-BEAT tab above.  You can also email us at upbeatyouth@bvopn.org.  View the flyer here.
